Senior Harper McClain and junior Natalie Wieland will be representing Loomis Elite Distance Running Club in the girls 15-18 division Dec. 5 at the AAU National Championships at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. McClain, an Oregon signee and Nike Cross Nationals finalist, is the reigning California Division 5 state champion from St. Helena High in Napa. Wieland is a California Division 2 state finalist at Ponderosa High in Shingle Springs who recently finished 27th in the Nike Cross Virtual championship week competition.
